The PQM-200 is a computer-based modular Class A++ Power Quality Analyzer, Digital Fault Recorder (DFR), Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU), and Revenue Grade Energy Meter with up to 48 input channels. The input modules are fully-isolated (isolation voltage 6kV) and provide a synchronized sampling rate of 144 kHz per channel at 24 bit resolution. An Automatic Anti-Aliasing filter together with extremely low-noise ensures signal quality and signal processing.

1. Modular System

The PQM-200 is a computer-based Power Quality Monitor with up to 48 input channels.

It combines functionalities of a

  • Power Quality Analyzer (PQA)
  • Digital Fault Recorder (DFR)
  • Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU)
  • High Precision Revenue Grade Energy Meter

Each user definable input card or module is fully-isolated at 6 kV and provide a high synchronized sampling rate of 144 kHz per channel for both voltage and current.

PQM-200 features a 24-bit analog to digital converter (ADC) which provides high dynamic range. Together with the Automatic Anti-Aliasing filter, PQM-200 has extremely low levels of noise ensuring signal quality and accurate signal processing.

2. Configure to suit your Needs

Screw Terminations can receive direct 1A or 5A secondary from the Current Transformer (CT), with a peak of 20A.

LEMO and DSUB9 Terminations can use Current Clamps or Rogowski Coils. The integrator is built into the PQM-200 which improves accuracy.

Sensor Integration for DSUB9 and LEMO Terminations

If you opt for DSUB9 or LEMO connectors for your PQM-200, we guarantee improved accuracy using our automatic calibration and auto sensor detection (TEDs). All current sensors offered by NEO Messtechnik are industry proven for different applications. We use and improve on the best available sensors in the market.

Frequency Dependent Calibration
The NEO sensor integration calibrates each sensor over a wide frequency bandwidth and corrects frequency dependent phase shift and amplitude damping. This allows for high precision from DC to high-frequency measurements.

Measurement Range Dependent Calibration
In addition, the sensors will calibrated for each measurement range using multiple points.
